Inside Purrville
We are experienced ‘cat people’ who enjoy caring for and spoiling your feline family. We offer a fully licenced, purpose built cattery designed with cats in mind. There are individual pens for all our guests and also a semi communal area for them to enjoy with plenty of toys and areas to explore. We also offer private pens with individual outside areas for guests who are happier on their own.
As we are a family run business we know family members some times prefer to be together, so we also offer double pens for family members to share during their stay with us. Dianne – I have been around cats all my life. I was born and raised on a dairy farm in the Waikato. I have done a bit of travelling and was involved in the Cat Show circuit for a few years in England. From there I drifted into the official side of the shows stewarding for a friend who was a regular judge on the circuit.
Robert – I was born and raised in Gisborne and have been around cats and dogs most of my life. Today we have a Birman and a Torty who run our house for us!
When we are not minding our feline family and guests, we will be found “Granny hunting” as the rest of the family like to call it. To others we have the genealogy bug. If anyone has ‘Googled’ the names and shares the family background we would love to hear from you.
